Host Rights
Host rights for the 2009 national SEGRA conferences are now being sought. As a guide over the last three years regions have combined with a number of organisations and state and federal departments to provide sponsorship ranging from $55 000 - $70 000. Major sponsorship branding is given to sponsors whose cash contribution is $10 000 or more. Additional sponsorship opportunities for this years SEGRA are available and include:
- Hosting a conference breakfast, lunch or evening function (cocktails, formal dinner, barbecue)
- Hosting a VIP function, private briefing session or business breakfast
- Sponsoring entertainment or themeing of a function.
- Sponsoring the publication of the conference proceedings by way of CD-rom

Sponsoring Benefits
As minor or supporting sponsors of SEGRA 2008 your organisation will receive exposure to the substantial positioning, promotional and marketing benefits associated with such a high profile national conference as SEGRA.
You also have the opportunity for a presentation by a speaker of your choice if choosing to sponsor a function, allowing you to address academic institutions as well as private and public sector organisations from throughout Australia.
Sponsorship allows your organisation’s products or services to be showcased to decision-makers from both public and private sector organisations across Australia as well as regional community development associations and the media.
If your organisation will be booking full conference registration for two or more delegates, it may be cost effective to explore sponsorship opportunities that include free registration bonuses. Contact the SEGRA Secretariat for further details.
Displays
Display space is available at the conference venue and special events. The display are arranged to maximise exposure to delegates. For details of display availability and rates please contact the SEGRA Secretariat.
CD-ROM inclusion*
Any parties interested in including information or links to their web sites on the SEGRA CD-ROM should contact the SEGRA Secretariat for details. Only submissions with direct relevance to economic and regional development issues, initiatives or programs will be accepted.

International Keynote Sponsor
As an international keynote sponsor, you are enabling the funding of an global expert in the field or regional economic development to travel to Australia and present a keynote address. Cost $13 750 (including GST).

National Keynote Sponsor
As a national keynote sponsor, you are enabling the funding on a national expert in the field of regional economic development to travel to SEGRA and present a keynote address. This support would cover travel, accommodation and speaker fees. Cost $8 250 including GST.

Function and Specific Program Sponsorship
This includes:
- hosting a conference breakfast, lunch or evening function (welcome cocktails, offical conference dinner and networking dinner
- hosting a VIP function, private briefing session or business breakfast
- sponsoring a workshop or Communique'
- Sponsoring entertainment or themeing of a function
Specific function sponsorship starts from $4 400 including GST.

Lunch Sponsor
The Sponsor is recognised as the host of the Lunch on the day selected as well as the opportunity to present a lunch address to delegates for 15 minutes maximum. Cost $4 950 including GST.

Business Breakfast Sponsor
The Sponsor will receive recognition as the host of this function as well as an opportunity to present a breakfast address to delegates for 10 minutes. Cost $4 400 including GST.

Welcome Cocktails Sponsor
This function will be a 1 - 1.5 hour function and delegates opt into this event, as well as any other function, at an additional cost to registration. Cost $5 500 including GST.

Networking Dinner or Official Conference Dinner Sponsor
You will receive recognition as the sponsor for the dinner as well as receive the opportunity to place display signage and logos in the function room as well as the opportunity to address the delegates for 5 minutes. Cost $7 700 including GST.

Half Day Workshop Sponsor
As a sponsor of a half day workshop on Day 3 of SEGRA you have the opportunity to provide your view on speakers and help design the agenda of the 4 hour workshop. Cost $13 750 including GST.

Full Day Workshop Sponsor
This option enables you to host the full day workshop being conducted on Day 3 of SEGRA. You would have input into the workshop agenda and speakers program. The organisational and logistical support for the workshop will be provided by the SEGRA Secretariat. Cost $22 000 - 27 500 including GST.

Study Tour or Field Trip Sponsor
As a sponsor of a study tour or field trip you will receive recognition as sponsor in all collateral as well as input into the coordination of the field trip. Cost $4 550 including GST.

As the sponsor of the publication that reflects the theme, action agendas and key issues of the conference, you will receive recognition in all collateral as well as the Communique' publication and input into the direction of the Communique. Cost $5 500 including GST.

Advertise in the program booklet received by all SEGRA Conference delegates. A variety of options are available ranging from logo placement to full page advertisements. One colour artwork to be supplied by the sponsor to specifications provided by the SEGRA Secretariat.

Registration Brochure Advertisement
Promotional flyer provided by the sponsor to be included with the mail out of registration brochures for the SEGRA Conference. Our database reaches over 18 000 people. Cost: $3 850 subject to weight of insert.

Sponsorship is dependant upon the type of satchel chosen. Options can be developed to suit a variety of budgets. In previous years, satchels have been sponsored at a value of $3300-$5500.

Footprint Floor Graphics
This is an opportunity for your company to have giant graphics cut into the shape of footprints leading delegates into the function or conference room. Full colour floor graphics 1m X 0.5m approx. $350 per floor graphics. One colour artwork to be supplied by the sponsor to specifications provided by the SEGRA Secretariat.
